Transport

Travel Tip #1: Overnight buses

A fantastic way to save time and money! During the night you will be sleeping anyway so if you’re tight on time, why not use your sleep time resourcefully and travel to the next city on an overnight bus so you can wake up and have the entire day available to explore.

Travel Tip #2: Luggage weight

When travelling via planes, particularly in Europe, be aware of your luggage weight as flights can be very cheap IF you only have carry-on bags, if you need to check a bag in it can sometimes be x5 the price of a flight itself. I advise to leave home with as little weight as possible with a check-in bag and as a backup keep a little bag weight scale in bag.

Travel Tip #3: Consider all transport modes

When looking to travel to the next city, consider all modes of transport (Plane, bus, train, boat, hire car). Depending on your situation and value for money some modes of transport may be better valued than others. Rome2Rio is a great website when assessing all your options for moving from Point A to B.
